Bienvenidos AVASSV

Es un gran placer para nosotros darles la bienvenida y agradecer a los miembros de la Asociacion Valenciana de Asistencia Sanitaria y Social Voluntaria por dar  la oportunidad a nuestros estudiantes de prestar servicio a la gente de Camarines Norte.

Su presencia entre nuestros estudiantes demuestra no solo las destrezas profesionales y formacion necesarias que ellos deben aprender para su trabajo en el futuro como cuidadores.  Ademas, ustedes les dan un ejemplo perfecto de lo que es prestar servicio a los mas necesitados.

Yo siempre digo a nuestros profesores y estudiantes de que si observamos el mundo alrededor de nosotros,todos se comparten: desde la piedra angular que sostiene los edificios, a las plantas que producen frutas para nosotros y los animales que producer y cuidan a sus hijos. Nosotros los seres humanos estamos particularmente dotados de la capacidad de compartir nuestro conocimiento a otros. Los medicos,en particular, estan afortunados porque no solo usan su conocimiento para salvar vidas sino que ademas ayudan a mejorar la calidad de vida de otras personas.

Los entre nosotros que pueden ayudar a otras personas por medio de nuestras profesiones son, por cierto, afotunados a aprender mas sobre nuestras destrezas. Es mediante este intercambio que entre nuestro aprendizaje y nuestro servicio a otros crecemos y nos desarrollamos y asi conferir a otros la dignidad humana que todos nosotros merecemos.

Otra vez, le damos las gracias por estar aqui con nosotros y ojala que continue a inspirar nuestra gente a prestar servicio a otros.

We would like to welcome and thank the members of the  ASOCIACIÓN VALENCIANA DE ASISTENCIA SANITARIA Y SOCIAL VOLUNTARIA (AVASSV) for giving our students the opportunity
to be of service to the people of Camarines Norte.

Your presence among our students demonstrates not only the necessary professional skills and training that they should learn for their future work as care givers; but moreover, you bear witness to them the meaning of dedicated service to those who are most in need.

I always tell our faculty and students that if we observe the world around us, everything shares itself to others: from the corner stone posted on buildings to make them stable,
to the plants that bear fruits for our consumption and the animals that produce and care for their offspring.  We human beings are especially endowed with our capacity to share our
knowledge with others. Medical practitioners in particular are blessed because they do not only use their knowledge to preserve the life of others, but moreover, they work to help improve the quality of life of their fellow human beings.

Those of us who are able to serve others through our avowed professions are indeed fortunate to learn more about our skills as we serve others. It is through this interchange between our learning and our service that we are able to grow and develop
ourselves more and bestow on others the human dignity that we all deserve.

Again, thank you for your presence among us and may you continue to inspire our people to be of service to others.
